NVIDIA are an American multinational technology company. NVIDIA design graphics processing units (GPUs) for the gaming and professional markets, as well as system on a chip units (SoCs) for the mobile computing and automotive market. NVIDIA is focused on four core markets: gaming, professional visualisation, data centres, and auto. NVIDIA is also now focused on artificial intelligence.
Brief: NVIDIAs GTC 2020 Keynote event wanted to showcase a song that was create by AI (artificial intelligence) being played and recorded at the famous Abbey Road studios in London. The filming brief was to record this historic event to be used as the finale for their annual keynote event.
What We Did
NVIDIA had their in-house video director over from the US and their UK video producer too, but needed crew and very specific kit supplied. We assembled our Growl Films crew including gimbal operator, focus Puller, and camera assistant.
NVIDIA had specific kit requirements, in particular a cutting edge RED 8k camera, so we sourced this for them as well as making use of our in-house kit. This ensured that the footage matched perfectly with their global video standards.
